Match Report

CBHS 24 - Del Campo 37

Tuesday afternoon, we travelled to Will Rogers Middle School, across from Del Campo High, to play the second oldest High School Rugby Club in America, the Cougars (a combo of Del Campo, Bella Vista, El Camino and others). Their head coach Joe Cavalerro has been running rugby there for 23 years, and he wasn't about to let us spoil his day. We were supposed to be playing a JV game today, but our club faced several of their Varsity players, especially when we started to turn up the heat on them in the 2nd half. All is fair, however, as we certainly had our day last Tuesday vs. the Jesuit Frosh.
