2006 Season

2006 Frosh/Soph Playoffs

May 2 F/S semi-finals saw CB face off against Jesuit. After going 3-0 against their sides this year, everyone knew they would be Bringing their best side out. With around 40 players rotating in, including Sophomores that had played the season on the Varsity II Side, the game started out even. CB was missing a few key players due to injury, and only had a couple of subs. The game started out with both team exchanging scores. After half, CB was down 30-14. A couple of times CB looked to be breaking the goal line that could have tied the game at that point, but ended up receiving penalties. While the Jesuit side was continually able to put in fresh subs, CB players had to ignore the dings and drive on. An exciting contest to the end, a couple late-game scores made the final result CB 14 - Jesuit 41.

April 21 The Frosh/Soph Team continued its winning ways with a first-round playoff victory over Mother Lode 26-8.

2006 Regular Season

April 14 Two games vs. Jesuit: Varsity tied Jesuit II 6-6 and the F/S wins 17-5.

March 23 Games vs. Rio Americano marked consecutive outings in the rain. The Varsity side was only behind by 7 later in the game, but eventually lost 42-13.

The F/S side, playing without a couple key players, took control, and executed plays, with consistent rucking and tackling. Players continue to step-up, exampled by Eric Lichtenberger's 2 tries. CB's Frosh/Soph continued their winning ways against a big, athletic, and well coached Rio side, with a score of 24-10.
