2005 Season Recap
The inaugural season for the Christian Brothers High School Rugby Club was a huge success by all accounts. Competing in the highly competitive Sacramento Valley High School Conference (SVHSRC), the team won most of its games, and went down to the wire against Jesuit JV in the playoffs quarter final. A number of players competed in the Pacific Coast Invitational Tournament at Stanford University on May 14-15, and two players were selected to compete for the Sacramento Valley All Star Team in a national competion in Colorado.

For the JV action we moved into the De la Salle Stadium, onto their all weather carpet, and under the lights. The crowd was certainly several hundred strong. De la Salle played a half vs. Antioch as we struggled to warm up and work out plays at the last minute. It was chilly standing and waiting, but once the first half vs. De la Salle started, none of the players complained and the parents and fans were loving it.
